1. Attacker: Step in RL and RH angle strike right to left
Defender: Inwards block with RH Y and brace it with your LH
LH reach up and grab end of attackers Y
Rotate your LH down and then slice along the Y with RH striking the attacker shand and pulling the Y out.
    2. Attacker: RH angle strike left to right
Defender: Outward block bracing with LH

Defender: RH outward block bracing with LH
      LH grab their hand
Slide RH Y across and up their Y bringing the end of your Y under their wrist
Grab your Y trapping their fingers between the to Y
Lift your Y and theirs up vertical and down over to your right as your RL steps out behind you as your turn to the right.
    5. Attacker: RH straight stab
Defender: Slide off to your right side evading the stab
As you evade bring your RH Y across with striking end down to the ground and parry the incoming stab
As you parry grab the Y with your LH as you raise your RH up and come down striking the side of the attackers hand with the pinon and stripping the hand away or striking down right to left stripping the Y
    6. Attacker: RH inverted straight stab coming down to the head
Defender: Step in RL, RH inward block bracing with LH
Rotate your Y in towards the attacker until the Y are parallel
The end of your Y should be on the outside of their wrist
Circle your Y over and down to your right pulling away as you step your RL back
    7. Attacker: Circle the Y to your left side and inverted straight stab
Defender: Step in LL and outward block with RH
Point your Y towards attacker and push the end past their wrist as you grab the Y with your LH
Pull LH down as you push RH up creating a fulcrum and stripping the Y, RH come back and strike to head
    8. Attacker: Low angle attack from left to right coming down from shoulder to knee
Defender: Step LL back as you strike/block the same attack angle with your RH
Shuffle in and push your RH under their wrist and circle it up and back towards you
Grab end of Y with your LH and push away as you continue the circle with RH across to your right side stripping the Y.

    9. Attacker: Low angle attack from right to left coming down from shoulder to knee
Defender: Step in RL and meet the attack with the same attack in your RH
LH grabs the outside of their writs and twists in inwards as you pull it in towards you
With your RH extend your thumb and grab the attackers Y as you pull their hand in towards you and twist the Y down and away to your right side stripping Y away

    10. Attacker: RH straight stab to eye
Defender: Step in RL and Inwards block with RH
Shuffle in and bring your LH up on the outside of the attack and over the arm cutting back onto the wrist back to your chest using their Y against your shoulder as the fulcrum to strip the Y away.
    11. Attacker: RH straight stab to eye
Defender: Step in LL and outwards block with RH as your evade to your left
Bring your LH up and underneath the wrist striking up as you push down with RH on Y
    12. Attacker: RH straight vertical downward strike
Defender: Step in with RL and upward block with RH
At the same time your LH comes in underneath and circles outwards trapping the Y against your body under your LH arm
Step your RL back as your pivot your body to your right stripping the Y
    13. Attacker: RH downward angle or horizontal strike, step in RL
Defender: Non aggressive stance RL slightly back. LH open hand brace along stick as you RH angle block LL half step forward during block. LH grab end of attackers stick, Loosen their grip with kick to groin. Push RH forward, roll your stick over and down inside their stick to form a cross shape. Use your stick as leverage & continue the roll bring the attackers stick around pushing with your LH straight ahead and down vertical striking their head (if you are lucky on the angles), breaking wrist hold, pulling stick away and continue counters.

Defender: Non aggressive stance RL slightly back. LH open hand brace along stick as you RH angle block LL half step forward during block. With LH grab attackers stick. raise it above your head as you step forward. As you step through beneath the arm, RH horizontal strike across the body. Your step through should end with attackers striking arm elbow on your shoulder blade. Continue the motion of the RH strike up and come round the outside of the attackers arm hooking the end of your stick behind the attackers wrist. Pull down with your RH. If you pull fast the arm will break. As you pull down bring your LL round so you are now standing behind the attacker, make sure there is no gap. Reach round with your LH and grab attacker’s chin wrenching back to the left side, Slide LL back and take down to the ground. Finish or escape.
