Self Defence Martial Arts Honours board

These students have completed our Senshi no te Self Defence Martial Arts (13yr+) programme and graded to the Black belt and above ranks.

The Senior Honour Board recognises students who have achieved the highest level of technical and personal development within the Self Defence Martial Arts programme.

Earning a Senior Black Belt represents years of consistent training, perseverance, and commitment to personal growth. Students at this level demonstrate a deep understanding of martial arts techniques alongside the mental discipline required to apply them effectively.

Senior Belts are expected to embody the core values of Shizoku Martial Arts — Education, Inspiration, and Empowerment — both inside and outside the dojo. Many also contribute to the community by mentoring younger students and supporting the development of the next generation of martial artists.

Achieving this rank represents not only technical excellence but also maturity, leadership, and strong character.
